The Camborne School of Mines Association is the Alumni body for the Camborne School of Mines (CSM) which is part of the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom.
Our CSMA Annual Dinner for members will be on March 9th 2024 at the Falmouth Hotel. To book one of the remaining tickets, please log in to your member profile.
Through its membership, CSMA nourishes our network of worldwide connections, pushes the frontiers of knowledge through links with past students, and enjoys our shared experiences of having studied at the best mining school in the world.
Our aims are;
- to endeavour to maintain the identity of the Camborne School of Mines;
- to facilitate contact and foster comradeship between current and past students of the Camborne School of Mines;
- to advance the interests and present the views of past and current students of the Camborne School of Mines; and
- to provide a link between past students and the school and the CSM Trust
Our office in the CSM Museum on campus is normally open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
We hold regular social and community events in Australia, N. America, Asia, the UK and Africa. Each year we host the Annual Dinner and Barrel Match where past students play current students at sport and we celebrate at the ‘Bottle Match’ where CSM plays its old adversary, the Royal School of Mines (RSM) for a black, battered, metal bottle.
