.jpg) Founded in 1888, Camborne School of Mines (CSM) has a unique combination of scientific and engineering expertise in geology, mining, minerals processing and renewable energy and applies this to world-leading research and teaching. We have a particular interest in responsible mining and sustainable development. Our portfolio of undergraduate, postgraduate and research degree programmes provide an excellent basis for careers, in the UK or overseas, within the Earth resources, civil engineering, environmental and energy sectors. The vast majority of our graduates are employed in areas related to their degree.
The continuing undergraduate programmes at CSM are now Mining Engineering, Geology (Applied Geology, and Engineering Geology and Geotechnics) and Renewable Energy. Our MSc programmes include Applied Geotechnics, European Mining Course (EMC), European Minerals Engineering Course (EMEC), European Geotechnical and Environment Course (EGEC), Minerals Engineering, Mining Engineering, Mining Geology and Surveying and Land/Environmental Management (SLEM). A recent development has been the start of an MRes (Masters by Research) in Renewable Energy.
